Saturday 26th

Published: 26th July 2014

Well  – time in Olafsfjordur is almost up! We had the opening of our exhibition last night – shared with some local artists and it was a very friendly affair after all the worries that it might not loo very good in the space – which was the local community centre. But yes it did itself justice – here are a few pics of our work

So today was a bit of a moving on day – all the work for the exhibition was complete – so what next? I spent the day down on the black sand beach drawing black stuff… cant seem to get into colour here somehow! The small stream was making tracks through the sand – and I was mesmerised by it… here you see why:

Jeanne and I also spent some time adding small sections to the installation in the herring racks…

Tonight I am knackered – another walk tomorrow if the weather holds… and then a massive clear out…
