Glacial Narratives

Over the past few years, the main material I have been investigating is ICE. It offers so many possibilities, both from the perspective of its qualities of impermanence and translucency, and from its place in the narrative of the climate of our planet. This interest has taken me to Svalbard and to Greenland on several occasions with residencies at Longyearbyen, Svalbard, and Ilulissat, Greenland.

The result of this fascination has been a series of Glacial Narrative exhibitions, for which I invited artist colleagues Elizabeth Bourne and Adam Sébire to present works to complement my own. The resulting series of exhibitions is laid out below – and the accompanying book can be downloaded here
